This is the hardest page on my website. Trying to put something impressive, pretending like it’s not me saying it, like Tim is the world’s greatest photographer and he has wealthy clients from all over the country and has won 3 international photography contests. The clients from around the country and contest winning is true but big deal. I could mention about the hundreds of backgrounds and settings we have, inside and outside. Maybe the 30 years photography experience and the ability to make the most un-photogenic camera hating person out there look good. Or affordable prices, the value you get for your money. How about the photos Cds we offer everyone seems to like those. It all just seemed like a bunch of crap, blah blah blah same type stuff everyone says.
So.... the only thing I could come up with that really mattered to me is that I Care about my friends that come to my studio for their portraits. I would like to take credit for the caring attitude but it probably came mostly from my wife Cheryl rubbing off on me. You’ve probably seen her and our kids, their the ones throwing the fish back in the water (haha they actually got on local news one time for doing that after a big storm flooded the creek fish onto the bank) or yelling at some slob for throwing trash out of their car. Ok so back to me, the cool thing about caring is that I don’t worry much about getting business or the money. When I care about the friends that come to me for photography the money that I need to live on seems to just show up. Probably because they tell all their friends about us and that keeps us busy all the time doing what we love to do.
We’ll that’s the best I’ve got for right now why you should choose us for your portrait and photography needs.
One random example that comes to mind is from back in 2007 when Kelsey Smith was kidnapped. Several news organizations and TV shows were requesting photos of her that I had just taken of her for senior portraits. I was glad to send them with no strings attached, no photo credits requested or money involved, it wasn’t about me it was about helping my friends in need. Anyway I have a folio of Kelsey in my studio and people look at them and then look at me and say, “you took Kelsey’s portraits”. I always wondered how they could not know that I took them since they were published so much, then I remember that I never asked for any photo credits or anything so most people didn’t know that I took them. But I know.
